
Blue Pea Pasta
Creamy milk pasta with a natural blue colour from boiled blue pea flowers and a garlicky, spiced sauce.
- 60 g blue pea flowers
- 250 g pasta
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 pc garlic
- salt
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 400 ml milk

Boil the blue pea flowers in water to extract the natural blue colour. Once the colour is released, strain the liquid and keep it aside.

Boil the pasta in the blue pea liquid until properly cooked, then drain.

Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the chopped garlic for a few seconds until aromatic.
- Step 4
Add the salt, chilli flakes and oregano to taste. Mix well.
- Step 5
Pour in the milk and stir to create a creamy sauce.
- Step 6
Add the cooked blue pasta and cook for a few minutes until the sauce coats the pasta nicely.
- Step 7
Garnish with oregano and chilli flakes and serve hot.
