It also computes macros per ingredient against USDA FoodData Central rather than presenting a single figure.
What does Flavorish do that Mello does not?
It ships native iOS and Android apps, and it imports recipes from photographs of handwritten cards and cookbook pages. Mello is a web app you can install to your home screen, and imports from links rather than images.
Can I move my recipes across?
There is no direct import from Flavorish. Any recipe with a public link - an Instagram post, a TikTok, a blog page - can be pasted into Mello and it will read the ingredients and steps out of it.
Do I need to pay?
No. Importing, planning and shopping are free on Mello, with a Pro tier that raises the monthly limits on imports and AI features.
